Ink could sense they were close to the entrance. The scent of ShadowClan was overwhelming.
Her silver fur was now clean and shiny. She looked better, prettier. More like the cat Thicket loved long ago.
"We're here aren't we." Ink stepped close to him, allowing her fur just to touch his. She pressed her nose in his fur for a minute. She didn't really want to be paraded around camp, but it would make Thicket happy. She wished that they could have spent more time together, just them, but things were different now. Ink would just have to go with it if she wanted Thicket. Which she did.

Thicketstar padded in and wispered 'Hry you do want your warrior name ot be Ink something or change your name?" He felt happy walking with his former love. She looked much more beautiful and clean. He knew they were here and he wanted to give her a warrior ceremony.

"I don't know. Names aren't important." Ink said. "How will they react when you bring me in?" She asked, curiosity peeking through.
She was really just delaying him. Her entering the camp would change her life forever. |

Thicketstar mewed "Well it should be normal. Many cats have joined lately so you will fit right in. Also, you need a name. It will be obvious it you keep your name as Ink that your a non clanner." He knew that it was life changing for Ink but, they had to do this together.

"Okay, if that's what you think is best." Ink said, pressing close to him.
Oaktooth stumbled through the thick pine forest, a bundle of herbs tight in his jaws. He saw Thicketstar,outside the camp entrance. There was someone with him. A she-cat. She was close to him, like she knew him.
Thicketstar brought many new cats into the clan, but this one was different. Oaktooth found a growing suspicion. He padded closer to them.
"Thicketstar, who is this?" He said, his voice a growl. |

Thicktstar mumbled something about cats needing names and then he saw Oaktooth. He snapped "A cat I knew before I joined the clan ok? Is there something wrong with that Oaktooth?" He was rather tired at the moment and he didn't want anyone to harrasse Ink. He knew this may end up as an argument but, it doesn't matter to him. He was just happy to be with ink again.

"Yes Thicketstar, sorry." He dipped his head, trying to sound more apologetic than he felt. He couldn't ignore how close that she-cat was to him.
And Ink couldn't ignore how handsome this tom was. Oaktooth was his name? Ink smiled at Thicketstar for protecting her though she knew he knew that she could protect herself. She smiled even wider at Oaktooth. She was already thinking of ways to make Thicketstar jealous.
"I'll be in my den." Oaktooth felt awkward with them and walked around them.
"I think I'm ready to see the camp." Ink said to Thicketstar, watching Oaktooth disappear through the entrance. |

Thicketstar mewed "Oaktooth wait! i'm sorry I lost my temper!" he sighed. He was still trying to control his aggressive nature. He hated scaring off others especially his medicine Cat. He trust oaktooth with his life but, still. He had to be careful. He mewed to Ink "Ok where do you want to go?" He was ready to do this. (sorry bad post)

Oaktooth flicked his tail in acknowledgment. He turned around and padded over to Thicketstar.
"I was thinking about giving Shatteredpaw her full name at the next Medicine Cat gathering. I know she is still young and most wouldn't for another few moons, but I think she deserves it after her mother changed her name like that. I just thought you should be aware."
Oaktooth padded back into his den.
Ink blinked, confused at what had just happened. Oaktooth obviously had feelings for this 'Shatteredpaw'. Ink wondered if Thicketstar had noticed.
"I dunno, I've never been in a clan before so why don't you just show me around. Introduce me to your clan and whatever." |

Thicketstar mewed to Oaktooth "I understand. She deserves a new name after all she has been through." He turned ot ink and said "I need to name you to introduce you. So I can't name you Ink something. The first part of your name will need to be changed unless you want your name to be ink something. It works either way. Its up to you." Oaktooth and Shatteredpaw could be siblings at the rate they got along. Wait! Could Oaktooth somehow like her?
